Fake + Itecture Saturday Walking + Talk

Have you ever wondered how The Strip creates such amazing spaces with such expensive materials? In this dazzling walking tour, Nevada Preservation is going to take you to The Strip to hear about the creation of opulence and decadence is less about marble and more about tricking the eye into seeing what you expect. Fake-itecture celebrates the amazing talent of architects and designers who create these spaces that just ooze that Vegas Vibe.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

This program is an outdoor walking tour on the Strip.  The program is both indoors and outdoors, running rain or shine.  Please wear sensible walking shoes and dress for the weather. To make the most of your experience, please carefully note the information below: 

Bring Your Own Water: ·Stay hydrated.   

Staying Apart Together:  Although masks are no longer required during our events, please continue practicing sensible social distancing, keeping a healthy distance between you and other tour guests.

Weather: All events take place rain or shine! Please check the weather for appropriate dress.

Sunscreen:  Stay sun safe and lather up.  

Age Restrictions: Registrants must be at least 14 years of age.  Minors must purchase a ticket and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 

PARKING AND ARRIVAL: 

Please plan to arrive promptly:  The tour will start outside of the Venetian at the fountain at the foot of the front bridge. If guests inside look for the big round bar in the center of the casino, past that they’ll see two big escalators. They should walk between them and out the front doors then to the fountain!  Guests should park at the Venetian for the tour and note that it is about 5-10 min walk from the parking structure to the meeting point. They should follow signs to get to Las Vegas Blvd. or the outdoor gondola rides to head towards the meeting point.  

**Please note that parking is not included and that you may need to walk some distance to the start of the tour. Please allow enough time.

FINAL CONFIRMATION + EVENT INSTRUCTIONS
