Description
Today Las Vegas is home to millions. High speed commuters trek to and from work. Suburbs stretch to mountains' edge accross the valley...
But what was Las Vegas life like in the early days? Where were the earliest suburbs and who lived there? Rewind the clock and enjoy tales of the simpler life with "Revivals + Ranches: A Stroll Through Time," a walking tour in the John S. Park Historic District.
In this 90 minute neighborhood walking tour, participants will:
* Discover the John S. Park Historic Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
* Learn about Las Vegas' earliest influential families
* Explore Las Vegas residential architecture, especially Revival and early Ranch styles
* Uncover the extraordinary past of two iconic Las Vegas mansions: The Cyril Wengert House (Now Zak Bagans Haunted Museum) and "The Hartland Mansion" (Now Mansion 54)
