Magic Hour Neon Walking Tour with Richard Hooker: HHLV 2022

As part of Home + History 2022:

Las Vegas cultural urbanist  Richard Hooker of Las Vegas Pop Culture Tours leads the Magic Hour, a twilight, two-hour walking tour through Fremont Street, guiding attendees through an outdoor museum of historic neon signs and Las Vegas cultural relics. 

The tour begins at the restored 1970s Golden Goose sign, corner of Fremont & 10th Street.  Participants will learn about the twelve most famous neon signs of Downtown, just as they begin to flicker on during this magic hour on Fremont Street.  This spirited trek through 50 years of urban electric spectacle weaves together neon architecture, legendary casinos, larger than life personalities, and unique histories, creating an enduring story of Las Vegas, old and new.  

Complimentary cocktail is included in tour price.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

Meet up location: the Golden Goose electric sign, located on the corner of Fremont and 10th Street

Parking: Free curbside parking is available along 10th Street

Conclusion: the tour ends at Circa Resort (corner of Main & Fremont) with a complimentary cocktail at Legacy Club rooftop bar with spectacular views of Downtown.

Must be 21 or over.
